Molten Lava Cake

My husband had invited his buddies to our humble house for Christmas gathering. I had prepared these cakes 2 days before and freezed them. But I didn't bake them cos we had too much food plus there is Santa Clause cake.

Just baked one a while ago to satisfy my desire to see how the cake will turn out.

Bingo! It is really yummy. My Da loves it! I will be baking the rest of the cakes for the family after dinner. Cheerios!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

Geraint's school had a reading activity on The Hungry Caterpillar and the principal requested me to bake some cupcakes for the children. Why cupcakes? Becos in the story the hungry caterpillar ate cupcake. I was only informed on this 2 days before the activity. Hence the caterpillars are not totally dried up when I delivered the cakes.

In the story, the caterpillar turned into a butterfly after 7 days of continuous eating. So I had the numbers 1 to 7 on the cupcakes too!

I hope this creation of mine will bring joy to all the children in the school.

Importantly, it will leave them a deeper impression of the story.

This is my hubby's favourite banana cake! The texture is really nice and soft. We do not like those that are sold outside because the banana essence is too strong of our liking.

I have made this for my neighbour - Happy Deepavali! Hope they like it! :)

This is my husband's favourite agar agar. It tastes excellent in the mouth when the transparent portion combines with the rich coconut and egg portion. Yum! Yum!
